I am about to repaint mine to the original orange. I bought some paint. It is a Krylon Fluorescent Indoor/Outdoor Paint (spray paint) in Glowing Yellow Orange (#3102). Seems to be a dead on match. Is this kind of paint fine?
How should I go about doing this? Thanks. I assume you mena you are going to paint the needles, if that is the case, I did this on my 300E when I put in some gray gauge faces. I got some yellow/orange paint at the hobby shop. I did this with the needles of the guages. I don't recomend you take them off the pins which holds them are brittle and may brake if pulled to the side.
If you just mask all the areas very carefully and meticulously you will get the job done easy. Follow the idrections on the can and spray just little from a distance and recoat a couple of times. my 2 cents Good luck |
