I have a Alpine CD changer from my old volvo that was killed by a cement truck. Can I use the changer with the Becker or will I need to get a new head unit. I did not get a book with the car and want to know what the mode button does on the head unit. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can but you will need 3 cables and a translator adapter to allow it to work and this will cost @$300.00. The mode button allows it to change to cdc mode when the cahanger is hooked up.

Where can I get more information on how to do this and where to get the cables and equipment needed to do the job. Or is it something that a professional has to do.
