Am having issues connecting Alpine Cd Changer to factory Becker deck in 97 E420. Have tried both Peripheral and Blitz Safe adapters - both yield slightly different results, but neither work - deck does ackowledge there is a changer connected, but will not run it. Local dealer has looked at the changer and determined that he can control the changer with other decks, and my deck can control other changers (so I know they both work) so what is up?? Blitz Safe stated (that with the pin connector in the trunk) their product will work with any M-Bus changer - I am at a total loss. Has anyone ever run into this type of thing before?
