Another Radio Code Request
Hi. I have a Mercedes Audio 10 CD player and we can't seem to find the code (we being me nor the dealer.) Thing is, it seems to be a european model so the american dealer is having trouble finding the right code. Anyway, I'm taking a shot in the dark here but I'm hoping one of you can help me. Here's the info:
Mercedes Audio 10 CD S/N: AL291010796197 Any help or attempts would be greatly appreciated, the dealer is clueless as to where to look for a european radio code. Thanks again. Definitly a great forum you have here. |

I will try it tomorrow when the dealership reopens. I will let you know if it works. Thanks a lot for your help.

My experience is that dealer's database won't include the Audio 10 from Europe, and code generators that work for Becker don't work either because this Audio 10 is an Alpine.
The only way is to read the eeprom chip inside. I can do it for you when I get back home - I'm away on business/vacation for two more weeks. Here is my web page with more info: www.perfectmarketaudio.com/decode Ray |

I sent sura my radio and he decoded. It was my only option other than to buy a new radio. I'm glad I did this. Thanks again, man.
I have an eeprom chip reader myself but I wasn't about to open the radio, I'd rather let him do it. |
