I just changed the oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, etc.. on my 1997 e320 and my check engine light is on. Also, where the mileage shows up I have a check electronics message and I need the radio code. I am about to drive from California to Atlanta and need my radio. Any help or info on the matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Did these things happen as a consequence of your work on the car?
The radio code should be with your manual that came with the car. If not then I think you have to go to a dealer to get it reset.

Radio code:
If you have ever taken your car to an official Mercedes dealership, and you still have the invoice, chances are that your radio code is printed on it. Both dealerships here in San Jose do that. Also any dealership between CA and Atlanta will be able to look up the code in their database and give it to you provided you can show ownership (title or registration) |
