My 500E has (had) a factory phone and the antenna is used for the phone as well as the radio.

I need to replace the antenna mast. Can I use a standard W124 antenna mast or do I need to use one specific to the 124.036?

Which antenna provides the best gain?

Are there other options I don't know about?
