sometimes i wonder if we're helpful to a fault here. though I'm sure that the
majority of code requests are valid (wanting to believe the best in people)
it doesnt take a surgeon to realize that all one has to do to gain the VIN is
to look through the windshield and copy it down.

so by freely giving the radio code on the various MB boards, might we not
also be making it easy for folks to reactivate stolen head units?

then again, there cant be too big a market for stolen MB head units - they're
not that good and compare woefully to aftermarket units.
