MB Audio 10 won't play burnt CDs
just a heads-up for those considering the Audio 10
mine is a MF2199 (removable faceplate), perhaps the MF2910 is better not a terrible problem as I have the originals, but somewhat aggravating

You should try different CD-R brands and different burn options. I had a similar problem with my audio 10 but have found that using the Disc-at-once/96 with my NEC 3550a to have decent results. The player sometimes takes a while to begin playing the disc but once its started there is no problems.
Not sure what my model number is, but my face plate (the vol control part) is removeable.

I've had that problem with CD/RW's not CD/R's and sometimes there is a problem with "drop and drag" programs, sometimes they don't finalize the session. I use Roxio's software which works well. |

in the midst of experimenting
I have 3 groups - original work fine - fresh burned as either audio or data CD; these work after a pause - older (9 mos or so); some play sometimes and sometimes not - others not at all perhaps related to the (alleged ?) reduced longevity of burned vs. pressed ? all burned using cloneCD and my HP laptop cd and no-name CDs ??

update/resolution
the no-name CDs were the culprit bought some Sony 3 layer CDs and reburned the no-names and they worked fine (after an initial pause) but this also suggests the Audio 10 player is not as 'robust' as more modern players in any case, quality CDs are better and work fine with the Audio 10 anyone know why there is a longer pause with burned CDs before play starts ? - used cloneCD burning both as data and audio CDs, the same results
