1986 560sel radio codes

Can anyone help me out with radio code for my becker radio? all it has on the display is dash marks.

You will have to go to the dealer, they have a special tool which resets the radio. They remove the faceplate and insert the tool to reset. After 1990, I think, a reset code was provided with the car which could be entered by the owner to reset the radio.

Cheaper & better to have a in-dash CD player installed at "Best Buy" or similar.

call becker direct....with the number on the chassis of your radio they will be able to give you the code.
They might charge for it but it is easier..if you have a good relationship w/ your dealer they should be able to get it for you as well.

Nothing personal but I wouldn't let best buy or any of those stores near my car w/ a 50 foot pole...I've fixed more of their 'installs' then I care to think about.
