w123 radio/glovebox fuse
In my infinite wisdom, I decided to test the radio power line for power before installing a new radio by tapping the line against the ground... some sparks flew, but now no more sparks are flying. I checked the fuse, which looked good, changed it anyway, and still nothing. The glove box light (on the same fuse) is not lighting as well. Is there a separate inline fuse for the radio in w123s?

The diagram shows a "radio in-line fuse" but doesn't give its location. I plan to pull my radio over the weekend so I may find out, hopefully not the way you did. Fuses #2 and #4 may also be associated with the radio. The gove box light is on Fuse #4. The "radio in-line fuse" is not associated with the glove box lamp, according to the diagram (for a 1985 300D Turbo, from Braingears).
