Hi, is it possible to put 6.5 inch speakers in the rear deck of a 126? I have a nice set of profile 6.5 inch 2-ways that I'd like to put in (Got em free). Is there any way at all to put them in so that they can fit in the stock locations? I'd kinda like to keep the stock grills if possible.
I see that the stock speakers have "humps" in the rear deck that they fit in. Can I put the 6.5's under the "humps" and leave the stock grill in place (with a hollow spot between grill and speaker). P.S. The profiles are not a very deep speaker, quite slim. Edit: Pics of the finished project are down towards the bottom of the thread. Thanks!
