240D Alternator
is there any upgrade for the alternator in my 240D. I currently have a 70 amp unit in there and I am afraid of burning it out with my amplifier.

I have a cap on order, 1.2 Farad, should be here within the next couple of days. My amplifier is a Hifonics, 300Wx2.

Send the cap back, spend the money on a good batt.

I installed the AL129X in my car and have a potential car audio draw of 160 amps and installed the biggest battery available and the only time I get headlamp dimming is when listening to heavy bass at full volume with the 2 twelves I have....Great alternator and I thought inexpensive in comparison to some available as high output models...
