Speaker application Reverse cross-reference - does one exist?
Hi guys, does anybody know where you can find all the cars made in the last 20 yr or so that take a certain sized speaker?
I.E. 4x6: GM this, ford that, mazda such, etc....... Such a list would make sourcing an aftermarket sound system from a boneyard painless. I would effectively then have a list of all the vehicles that would likely have aftermarket speakers that fit, saving significant time at the yard...... Any hope for me? |
I'm sure the carstereo install shops have one
but I have no idea how to get it. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TN1lzWLU8FS/cgi-bin/autoinfo/autoinfo.asp?vehicleid=0&typeCH=home&vb=Y&lp=%2FS-TN1lzWLU8FS%2Findex%2Ehtml%3F%26id%3D0%26vehicleid%3D0&cm_re_o=fB5EzM*5yBpFwEAN*ctzfubflFYgzy You just have to input the year, make and model. It's really a list perse and does involve some searching on you part but it's all I have found so far. Also try this link: http://www.the12volt.com/ Loads of info, I just haven't had time to sift thru it. Louis. |
