Speaker application Reverse cross-reference - does one exist?
Hi guys, does anybody know where you can find all the cars made in the last 20 yr or so that take a certain sized speaker?
I.E. 4x6: GM this, ford that, mazda such, etc....... Such a list would make sourcing an aftermarket sound system from a boneyard painless. I would effectively then have a list of all the vehicles that would likely have aftermarket speakers that fit, saving significant time at the yard...... Any hope for me?

I'm sure the carstereo install shops have one
but I have no idea how to get it. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TN1lzWLU8FS/cgi-bin/autoinfo/autoinfo.asp?vehicleid=0&typeCH=home&vb=Y&lp=%2FS-TN1lzWLU8FS%2Findex%2Ehtml%3F%26id%3D0%26vehicleid%3D0&cm_re_o=fB5EzM*5yBpFwEAN*ctzfubflFYgzy You just have to input the year, make and model. It's really a list perse and does involve some searching on you part but it's all I have found so far. Also try this link: http://www.the12volt.com/ Loads of info, I just haven't had time to sift thru it. Louis.
