After reading a couple of threads, I am a little confused.

I "think" that there are some sort of speakers in the front doors, I have "felt" the air moving with my hand.

I do not think they are driving properly, which could be explained perhaps by the replacement, by a previous owner of the standard head unit with an Alpine unit, (low power internal amp) + in trunk 6 CD changer unit.

The console fader makes little difference, so I suspect a funky installation.

The Haynes manual I got does not give any real technical info on the "scheme".

Anyone offer any help, I have avalable 4*6.5 Polks and 2 external amps which I would like to re-use if possible, but I would go with new if needed.

Are there really speakers in the doors ? if so how are they wired wrt the other 4 ?

Thanks

Mike
