Room for CD Changer

Have '01 E-class wagon with Command and Bose.

Lots of stuff aready hanging in area where supposed to mount CD changer.

With proper bracket--which appears would replace current bracket--can everything be moved over, attached and fit?

On that car, I believe what is needed is a cd changer bracket only. The cd changer bracket mounts to the bracket the amp is mounted to. Either that or the changer mounts to just the existing bracket. Can't remember exactly now. The changer sits to the extreme right side of that area, there is a rip-out panel in the insulation which makes a bit more room for it, it does fit. Only the wagons with the premo sound system have that bracket that the amp is attached to, if not I think you had to order 2 brackets, the one the amp WOULD mount to if you had an amp, plus the one for the changer itself.

If you have the MC3010

The changer (203 820 90 89) does not need a bracket, remove the bracket holding everything from the car. Then set the changer to "V" for vertical, remove transport screws and put them in the holding location., put adhesive dust covers over holes, find 3 pole connector and fiber connector and connect. Secure changer with four screws, replace frame.
