nav cd player in comand not working

Hey guys,

Has anyone ever heard of the cd player inside the comand 2.5 not working? I took it apart anf it appears that the arm that comes down when a cd is in the player is down all the time. I know there is a service in Germany that can repair this problem but I am curious if anyone here in the US can fix it.
