Is it possible to mount 6.5 speakers in the door of a w123 without cutting metal? I have decent speakers on the front and rear decks, but even with a subwoofer, it isn't as full of a sound as it would be with these nice "mid-bass" woofers.

Its difficult. The window rides pretty close to the door panel. You would need some fairly shallow speakers.
