Is there an AM/FM/SW head unit for my W202 '98 C230 that will still operate my CD changer? (

Hey,
I'm still looking for an AM/FM/SW with single CD (oh, and wx would be nice, too) BUT I'll give a holler if I see one.

http://www.perfectmarketaudio.com/index.html It has LW/SW/MW coverage and a single CD slot and has worked well in my W202. I don't think it can control the factory CD changer but since the Audio 10 is a factory MB radio in Europe, maybe it could. There are also Audio 10s frequently available on e-bay. |

According to this article it will control the fiber optic changer but not the wired unit. Thanks for the info.

Found another site...
This one shows the difference between the Apline audio 10 and the Becker audio 10. BIG difference!
http://www.audio-10.com/ One will fit into the dash of a W202 and one will not. |

For my W202, if I get this Audio 10 in dash cd unit it claims better , dynamic powerful sound. Is it true?

I have heard that the Becker model 1350 will operate my non fiber optic cd changer and give me am/fm/sw directly at the head unit. Can anyone confirm this?
