The stock speakers in my 87 300SDL have went from bad to worse. Now the left rear is totally out and the others sound tinny at best.
I've searched the internet and a few other sources (Crutchfield, Audiophiles, etc) and they do not show a direct fit replacement for this car. Crutchfield had a few sets that would work, but would require some modification. Does anyone know of some decent quality speakers that would be a direct replacment? I would really like to have better bass response, so would replacing the rears with 6x9's or 4x10's be feasible?
