I searched a lot on this forum and was not able to find this exact information. Hopefully my experience will help others. If you have a Becker 1492 or Alpine CM2194 headunit that needs to be replaced, you can buy a Blaupunkt Bahamas MP46 unit on ebay for less than $100. That much I DID find on this forum. What I could NOT find was that except for the antenna connector the speaker and power supply plugs from my car were an EXACT match for the new radio. Literally plug and play. It doesn't get any easier than that. Other Blaupunkt radios may have the same orientation, I don't know. For the antenna lead, buy an adapter at your local car stereo place called an "aftermarket VW radio antenna adapter" for about $14. I spent three hours researching all the postings about getting VW harness connectors, etc. only to find this out after I got the old radio out (with a couple of thin steak knives - certainly no need to buy the Mercedes Radio Removal tool). By the way, my active bass amp and the front door subwoofers seem to work fine too. The back door speakers are shot so I just turned the fader to the front for now.
