I have a w124 230te wagon '89.At present the alpine changer is mounted in the recess inside the spare wheel cover but I am converting the car to lpg and the tank will be going there!Where is the best place to mount it now??Under the front seat?
Look forward to hearing from you soon. Hamish |

The factory mount for the changer is in the well of the third (rear) seat. If you have the seat installed it will get stepped on when the seat is used. Otherwise, you might try the hub of the spare tire, good luck. Ed

If you have a manual front seat and your cd changer is small enough I would stick it under there. Just be careful not to mount it to close to the lip under there otherwise you might not be able to get the magazine in or out.

My 6-disk Alpine changer is in the glove box. We have a 300TE and never considered putting it in the back with the kids. The glove box installation was great and easy to access.
