I ordered a Sanyo 10 disc DVD/CD changer (DV-S100, I think
it is now licensed by SONY) for my 98 S500. The changer come with a FM Modulator (88.7/89.1 Mhz selectable). My questions: (1) Is the connector in the truck only meant for the OE MB CD changer ? Is there a way to connect this aftermarket DVD/CD changer to that connector and go through the CD button on the car's original head unit ? If so, where can I get an adapter for the MB connector to match the one on the DV-S100 ? Or should I forget about that connector and just install the CD changer with the FM modulator at 88.7 or 89.1 Mhz ? (2) Is the schematics showing what each wire is for that MB connector ? Thanks for your kind help. Best Regards |
