I am pulling out my becker radio and replacing with a new Alpine CD player. When I inquired about an aftermarket wiring harness for the radio, they told me I was going to have to hard wire it. Is this true? If so, will I have to run new speaker wire to all the speakers or is there a way to figure out the speaker wires from the fader? help on this please.

This link and the DIY article (under DIY tab at the top of the page) are good starting points. It will show how to bypass the fader, which was only designed for 2 channels of power output.
