Has anyone performed surgery to their front doors of their 260E and put speakers in there? I think a nice 6" woofer will look good right above the door pocket where your knee would be. Im looking to vastly improve the mid's in the car because the dash and deck speakers just arent doing it for me. I upgraded the dash speakers to two-way kenwoods and they sound great. But im still lacking mids. I will be replacing the rear speakers also but havent decided on a brand. And ive also got 2 12" audiobahn subs with a 600W amp in the trunk. So highs and lows are covered. Its just mids that im having a problem with.

So, has anyone put speakers in their 260E doors? What did you put in there, and how did you wire it up? Thanks in advance.
