'00 cl 500 hANDS FREE CAR KIT

I just bought a '00 CL 500. I have removed a handsfree car kit with a Verizon (Audiovox 4000) phone from my old car. To what extent can I take advantage of existing MB features if I have this hands free kit installed. I am most interested in using the existing MB cellular antenna and muting functions and not at all concerned about the voice activation. Any help would be greatly appeciated.
