Audio Setup
I am planning on replacing my rear speakers in my 86 300sdl and i was wondering what would be better ; do get better 5 1/4 speakers or get 6X9's custom done I am eventually planning on putting a sub in the trunk but i was just wondering would sound better with a sub, thanks, bob

The archives have a wealth of information that may be of use to you. Iyou do decide on 6x9's, tell the installer to pack a lunch, 'cause it'll be an all day job! The metal below the hat shelf is serious as a heart attack.

What?? 6x9 speakers were installed in the first aid boxes within an hour in my 126! It is an easy job and the metal is not hard to cut!!
