Does anybody have an opinion on Coustic speakers? I've never heard of them, but I'm looking at what I think is a great deal on some 4" Coustic speakers. Please advise.

Personally, I've never heard of them, but thats probably because I'm stuck on a tiny island off the North-West coast of mainland Europe ;-)
With any speaker, you need to either a) hear it and like it b) read up a lot on the specs and be prepared to change it if you dont like it c) get someone whos got the same taste to recommend it. I never heard their speakers, but I had a Coustic cassette head unit about 15 years ago that was cheap ($159) and worked pretty well.

Coustic is junk; period. Check out stuff such as ADS, Mcintosh, Dynaudio; you will not be disappointed. Get less power in an amp but more quality; watts are not equal.
