I would like my car to remain as close to stock as possible, but this audio is just deplorable. I am planning to send the stock stereo in my '84 300sd to Becker to be refurbished and have a 3.5mm jack installed. I know I need new speakers, as one is completely shot and the others give no bass whatsoever and overall poor sound. Becker advertises their own speakers as an upgrade for the w126 for about $80 a piece. index
