Hello Forum Friends:

I recently had my 1993 300E Becker 1432 radio serviced at Becker Auto Sound. They installed the "Aux Input" cable and it works flawlessly - highly recommend it! In any event upon reinstalling the head unit with new "Aux" cable I find my Hirschmann antenna no longer functions. No sound from motor at all. Unit was functioning fine before I removed unit and sent to Becker. Question; is it possible the antenna just died while head unit was being fixed? I have 12v power to three (3) pin antenna cable so I believe its getting power. Do I chalk it up to happenstance that the antenna died while radio was away? Any other ideas are greatly appreciated....

Not likely it "died" by itself. Check again with nothing plugged into the aux in jack, no cassette in the slot, and so with radio selected.
