Audio cable routing

Perhaps someone can tell how to best route the audio cables in a 126 sedan?

I have already routed an 8 gauge power wire from the battery to the trunk, through the firewall and down the passenger side under the thresholds and center pillar then under the back seat and into the trunk.

It seems that the signal cables should go down the driver's side. Is this so? Is there a better way to route them?

On another note. . . If I hook up the 4 speakers to my 4 ch head unit. Then run the pre amp rca's to a amp in the trunk, can I amp to the two rears as well or must I disconnect them from the head unit speaker wires?

Can the low level preamp outputs and the high level speaker outputs be used in concert?

Always run signal cables as seperate from power cables as possible.

If power is down the right, send singnal down the left.

Thats how I have always done it in my cars.

The proper location for the wires you are running is through the factory plastic channels under the front seats. As ashman has said seperate the rcas and the power wires by at least a foot. I always run all wiring throught these channels because other wise the only location is along the thresholds and this always causes the carpeting to bulge and not fit right anymore. Good luck
