Hi All-

After searching previous posts on the subject of adding an Alpine CD Changer to my 1432 Becker, I have the following items from Mercedes:

1-CD Interface (Q-6-82-0135)
1-CBL-94 CD Ch (Q-6-82-0174)
1-Data/Pwr Cab (Q-6-82-0175)

In addition, I have an MBZ/E-ALP Changer Adaptor from PEI

I took these parts to the local Alpine dealer today and they are totally confused. The could not understand how this all goes together. I left while they called Mercedes and returned only to be told that I would have to make an appointment because the installation would take 2 hours and that it was not simply a "plug and play" process.

Can anyone shed some light? Is there a thread I have missed detailing the installation process?

Any insight would certainly be appreciated!
