Radio wiring question
I have decided to re-wire my 1992 300D to accomadate a new head unit. How do the existing wires run and what is the best way to run the new ones. I plan to utilize the existing speakers and will wire for a new amp to hopefully connect my door subs soon...
Any suggestions or comments are appreciated Wayne

Hello Wayne,
Click on the D.I.Y. tab at the top of this page and go to 124 stereo install. There is some very useful info there. Brian |

the speakers on your car are all wired from the amp in the back. you don't have to figure out the wiring from your old radio at all except for the power and the amp + antenna turn on.
http://www.beckerautosound.com/connect.jpg there's a detailed description in this thread: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?threadid=26815 also, our resident expert Scott from La Jolla Audio says that you may need a "PAC hi-lo adapter" for impedance matching of the speaker out to the factory amp. my Alpine head unit didn't need one though.
