Question Attempting to run 2 head units...

Here's my problem. I want to keep my factory bose cassette deck in its original spot, and add a JVC aftermarket CD deck in the second DIN spot where some people have a cassette holder.

I would like to be able to play cassettes from the factory deck, but used the JVC to run CD's and radio.

I've done some research into this, and so far the only solution I've found is to use an Ice Cube between the decks. However, some people have advised me not to use an Ice Cube, because sould quality from the JVC deck will be *****ty with lots of hissing.

Is this true, and if so, is their any other way to run 2 head units?

Thanks in advance
Prash.

if usuing aftermarket amplifiers to drive the speakers, you could probably do it easily.

Otherwise my thinking would be to wire up a few toggle switches to disengage the tape deck and use the JVC. I would of course have to researcha nd figure that one out, as its not done, but I have done it with a computer to run various hard drives without opening the case or removing any drives. Simple toggle switch to turn off the power to one drive and another to turn on the power to the other.

I would think an antenna splitter, and some 3 way toggle switches, you could effectively turn off the Caseete deck outputs and turn ont he outputs to work formt he jvc with the click of a few switches or one toggle that can handle the speaker outputs. But don't quote me on any of this. Its just an idea on how it might be able to be done.
