Center console illumination lights are out after a short

My 1989 230E's instrument panel illumination is working fine but the center console's illumination lights are out(including vent illumination and window regulator switch lights) after I accidently shorted the center vent illumination bulb's wire.
I checked all the light bulbs at the center console and vents. The light bulbs are all good.

Is there any fuse that controls the power only to the center console but not to the instrument cluster? Please help.

Hurshi

Lightbulb found the fuse

Thinking there should be a fuse at the back of the instrument panel I took it out and pulled out the red fuseholder. The fuseholder looks just like a usual black bulbholder but it is red. It is located right behind the light-brightness/odometer-reset button at the instrument panel. When you turn and pull it out you will see that it holds a fuse that looks like a broken piece of the usual schematic board. What I did with it is using my fingers I reattached the two side leads and put it back.
All the lights at the center console and vents are working now and I am happy too
