Question need better speakers

I have a 1994 C180 Euro version and the in-built speakers are a bit cheap sounding. I wish to put in 2 or 3way speakers in the 4 doors and also in the back deck, but need help in getting into those places. How do I open the door panels and the rear deck? What size speakers, how deep they can be to fit the spaces and what ohms are correct? 4ohms or 8ohms? I have a Eurovision radio cassette with CD controller to control the 10disc stacker in the boot also Eurovision(or Sony). The present sound is quite flat at full bass and the treble is not loud enough to be heard in the back seats. Sometimes at full bass, the front door speakers do rattle and shake, unable to cope with the symphonic sounds I love. Thanks.

Hi Hocky:

There is an article on installing 6 1/2" speakers in the door of my 1998 C230 (202 chassis).
http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W202Speaker
It is in the DIY article section at the top of the page. Huge difference changing just the front door speakers - the only other thing I think I will do at this point is replace the dash tweeters, just to raise the sound stage a bit. It is not too noticable a problem, just that the dash speakers are so weak that there has never been much sound from them. Really, I could live with just the door speakers in the front being replaced as it made such a major improvement, and I seldom have rear seat passengers. If you want sound for the rear, the rear door speakers should be a similar install. This assumes you have a setup like my 1998 - 2 dash, 4 door, 2 rear deck speakers. Just choose a speaker that sounds good to you, and then make sure that when you mount it that there are no holes or gaps around the mounting edges for sound waves to travel between the front of the speaker and the back surface. Degrades the sound a lot.
