CD changer location 190E ?

I have purchased a used 10 CD changer from a fellow club member to fit to my 190E. My question is, having not ever seen one fitted to a 190E, what is the usual location for a CD changer in a W201?

I thought it was trunk mounted in the spot behind the wheel well on the fuel filler flap side.

Thanks,

I suspected that may have been the location. The CD changer came from a W124 E320 coupe where it was mounted in the left hand (passenger side for us) well in the boot (trunk).

I tend to find those wells useful for carrying small items so I might look at mounting the CD changer under the shelf. This means that it also remains fairly accessible with the boot (sorry, trunk) laden. It may also help prevent any damage to the unit. I have seen some with damage caused by heavy objects falling onto them.

Greg
