In my car this morning I pulled out of the garage and was halfway up the driveway when I noticed that I wasn't getting a reception. After 10 minutes of pressing buttons, I happened to look back and see that my antenna was not raised. I figured I would play with it when I got home from work. After work on my way home, I pressed down on the drivers lock knob which has always locked the other doors, also. However, it did not do so this time. When I got home, I stuck the key in the passenger door and turned it, but only the passenger door locked; the drivers did the same. I thought I may have blown a fuse, but there is not a fuse for that stuff in the fuse box.. What's going on? Thx

There should be a fuse that says "aut. antenna"

If this vehicle is wired similarly to my '91 300SL, then there is another fuse box in the trunk (upper RH in mine), that powers the antenna and central locking system. In my case, the fuse was actually OK, but the contacts had corroded to the point that contact was intermittent.

I kept blowing the power antenna, interior light fuse. The antenna would go up but was binding on the way down. Evidently this was putting a load on the circut and that was the problem. Luckily the mast is in the up position and I pulled the power lead to the unit until I can get another one. Probably will be after market.
