Bug & Tar Remover & Paint Discoloration

Holy crap! I had some bug splatter on my front bumper which didn't come off when I washed the car down. So I used Turtle Wax bug and tar remover. The bug splatter came of pretty easily but now the paint is a bit lighter than the rest of the car! So I put some glaze on the area and then followed up with some wax. The light discoloration is still there. Does anyone have any idea what has caused this? The product says it's safe for clearcoats. My car is brand new and spends most of it's time in the garage, just a month old. Comments welcome. -Norm
