This is for a 1983 240D.
The black plastic/rubber piece that surrounds the back bumper is crackled. It appears to be in good shape, but the surface has gray and yellow crackles in it. I am thinking that paint would not adhere very well even if I could get it to match. Any suggestions other than just replacing the piece? |

You can get the replacement very cheap right here on this site or go to PGAUTO.COM

I had that replaced on the W123 200, and it didnt cost a bomb. It was really cheap in our local currency and I suspect them to be the same where you are.
And its easy to fit too. ![]()
