clear corner installation

HI, i was just wondering how difficult it is to install clear corners on the headlights, im fairly familiar with cars but not greatly. is this something i should be able to do with the instructions included with the clear corners, or something that i would need to take somewhere to have done? Thanks! By the way its an 86 300E

This is a simple install you can do.

1. Place your hands just to the outside of your headlight assemblies (in the corner of the fender) and you'll feel a plastic lever. Squeeze this lever and slowly push the corner light assembly forward. You should be able to visually see this lever (it looks like a clothespin)

2. Disconnect the wire from the socket.

3. Remove the old pin socket from your existing corner light and install it on your new lights. Most clear corner lights only have two prong sockets which are only used as turn signals. Install orange bulbs (you can paint them silver if you want)

4. Reinstall your new corner lights after connecting the wire. Note that there are two guides which will match up with your headlight assembly.

And your done!
