Dashboard cracks
I did a search in this forum on the subject and nothing really good showed. My '86 300E has 6 cracks on the dashboard (none longer than 3" or wider than 1/8" max). What is the very best product for a DIY repair that will come out looking like it wasn't done by an 8 year old with a black crayon? This is a car I am trying to maintain in (nearly) pristine condition. Living in the US Southwest takes a toll via sun intensity....what holds up? On a similar note, what is the best UV protectorant to apply to keep an uncracked dash for cracking in the first place?
