dieseling, brakes, etc.

accidentally posted this question in the wrong forum. i was driving on the garden state pkwy when my oil pressure dropped. oil everywhere. to make a long story short a mechanic charged me 266 bucks to replace the oil line from the turbo. the problem is that now for some reason my brakes are very hard to press down and they feel very limited in their stopping power. the car is also dieseling and i have to press the stop button when get out of the car. also the tranny is shifting a little harder. is this all a vacuum problem? i dont see the connection between a busted oil line and the other problems. anyone know a good mechanic in the d.c./md area? i would also be happy to pay a dieselhead to let me come over and help me work these and some other smaller problems out
