300D euro with 4spd manual tranny at Pick A Part (Houtson)

FYI. This weekend while I was searching for an ALDA and neutral safety switch for my car I noticed the following:

There is a 1980 300D non turbo with a 4spd manual tranny at the Pick A Parts Wallisville location in Houston.

Also, at the north location I saw one w126 300sd, one w116 gasser with euro lights, and two w123 300D turbo's.

Pull the trans, flywheel, pedal assy and shifter/rods ASAP. Eventually, you'll want it all to adapt a 300D Turbo.

There's a place on N. Shepherd called Milton Motors, their yard is full of W126s, W123s, a coupla W116s, W107s, and W201s, and a few of those newer MBs too. You can pick and pull your parts there too. I just wanted to inform you of a place that's mostly MB that's in Houston too.

The driveshaft. You forgot the driveshaft!! It's the only one that will be the correct length without modification. The rest of the stuff is much easier to come by.

Doh!! You're right, that would be the most important part, screw the rest. Aside from having to get the 240 shaft cut-down and re-balanced, getting one that is MADE the right length in the first place is the best bet!
