my first diesel
i recently bought my first mb diesel. a 1982 300cd with about 177,000 mi. i was reluctant because it has a bad tranny, but board member grimgaunt encouraged me to snatch it up. its currently awaiting a tranny transplant at his mercedes ranch
 he looked it over and he thinks its a good one. im excited about entering the world of mercedes diesel owners... im sure i will have many questions for you all in the near future. here are some pics:

Good lookin' car !. I like the coupe's almost as much as I like the SD's.
Congrats, hope the tranny transplant goes smoothly.

Nice looking coupe!
I like the look of the coupe, never owned one (yet).
Tell us, what is the gauge in the wood panel on the dash, a turbo boost gauge, or a clock? If a clock, I suggest you install a boost gauge instead  We will get you to hot roddin that car yet!
