While one would have a tough argument trying to show that the economy is better than is was four years ago, it certainly is better after:

- the stock market internet bubble crashed
- the 9-11 attack

No reasonable person would argue that either of those events was influenced by the current administration.

Back on topic...

I paid $1.75 a week ago for diesel while gas is ~$1.90. Many other stations have diesel near, at, or higher than gas. Diesel would have to get quite a bit higher than gas for me to change, since I'd have to buy another vehicle.

Ok I'll bite, you can blame who ever you want for the current fuel prices but, their is a larger globel demand for oil. Oil prices will continue to go up their is a greater demand in Asia for oil. China is buying the stuff like crazy, we are in a new world enjoy $2.00 a gallon while it lasts.

I can see it now. One of these bozos is going to buy a Peterbilt. Then what will be the result?
Have you guys seen this?? It is already here, the next step up for the SUV crowd.

Now that has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Just what everybody needs. A pickup truck that can haul 6000 lbs. They need to put a cover over the bed and make it a *****box so they can sell a million of them.

No worse than the Hummer, just bigger.

Beam me up Scotty when I see that rig on the road.

Cheers,

Bill

Don't park the diesel.

Old 300d try going on a search for sites discussing biodiesel or WVO. Maybe it's time to try something thats working and being researched at Iowa State, OSU and other campuses. I'm not a pro at this biodiesel use but getting better at it as I make my own.

I think that's a prank. If you go to the same company's 'Severe Trucks' listing, the CXT isn't on the list, even though the CXT page claims it is a 'Severe Truck'. This, I suspect, is a webmaster's trick, augmented with photoshop.

And let's not blame it on the soccer moms -- the SUV craze started among manly men who wouldn't be caught dead in a minivan. You know who you are

Who knows?

Anyone ever try to filter out the damnable red dye? Running it through a Buchner funnel full of activated charcoal works well but not for larger quantities. I'm wondering if a nice sintered bronze filter of about .5 to 2 microns would do it.

I know it's illegal to use red dye diesel on the road. I am not recommending that ANYONE break the law. Trouble is: I don't give a FRA.

To make matters worse. Some of us still add 6 grams per gallon of tetraethyl lead [ Pb (C2H5)4] to the cat pee they sell us disquised as gasoline.
