Valve seal replacement?
Before it gets colder, I am considering replacing the valve seals in my 300D. It has what I would call excessive blue smoke on cold start up, and after long idling. It also uses a little more than a quart every 1000 miles.. which is unaccceptable to me. Sounds like valve seals to me. Is there a good writeup on this procedure anywhere? I searched and found a bunch on gassers but none on a 617.
