Survival Mode
A quick story from lastnight coming home from a whitewater trip w/a friend on I-68 in maryland w/big hills and a loaded down 81 240D. Car is such a trooper and does a great job. Now the fuel gauge has always been a bit sticky down low, but with a little hitting of the gauge and checking the trip odo I would always be fine, and the reserve light would ALWAYS come on when it was really time to hit the fuel. Well, I forgot to reset the trip odo and was figuring I would fill up in about 40 miles or so after the big hills. Kept knocking the fuel gauge but got a consistent 1/4 tank. No reserve light.

that's just awesome
glad to know I could do the same thing in a pinch Did you do the Yough? Gauley season's almost over! Got some good flow right now!
