Question 240D Driveshaft Slop

I got under my '82 240D (180k miles) this weekend to look around. I put the car up on jack stands and took it out of gear so I could turn the rear wheels by hand.

When I grasp the driveshaft and turn it, there is a slight amount of "play" in the axel that goes to the rear wheel on the passenger side. There is no such play in the axel that goes to the rear wheel on the driver side.

Is this something that I should be concerned about anytime soon...? The flex disks appear to be new, and there's no slop anywhere else in the driveline.

Thoughts/ideas?

Thanks.

- Patrick
