Is Durham, NC to far for you to travel, because if not I recommend Allen's Wrench. The shop is owned by the most honest person I have ever met. He has been working on my and my parent's mercedes since they got their first one in 1978 (240d). I would not recommend any other shops in Durham though, because I have had work done at every Mercedes specialist and have either got ripped off or over charged. These shops include Euroclassics LTD., Global Imports (I think that is the name, I can't quite remember) they used to have a double decker bus outside, and can't remember the other shop's name, but it is off HWY 55, about a 1/2 from HWY 54 and HWY 55 intersection. I went be a shop in raleigh though, called Ultimate Automotive. The address is 1620 Trawick Road. I spoke with the owner, who is also the head mechanic. Their rates are great but can not say one way or another as towards the quality and or legitamacy of their work. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Ultimate automotive

I got a high reccomendation from a local in Rocky Mount for Ultimate Automotive. I called and spoke to the owner and he told me the same things as the guys here on the forum about my specific problem. He seems honest. Is labor rate does not seem bad either.
Thanks for the help.
